I compressed 3 disc in my back falling off of a 6" ladder. The doctor told me if I had surgery that there is a 60% chance of coming out paralyzed because of the way the nerves are wrapped up in the mess.
Needless to say I told him that he better know how to write a prescription for the good stuff and keep it coming because I was not going under the knife.
I have my good days and I have my bad days but fortunately I never missed a beat and I know when to take it easy. (thats another advantage of working out of your house  )
But after 10 or so years I have noticed that I am getting arthritis right where I injured myself so the pain is starting to come around more often, but I do not plan on slowing down anytime soon.
