Bring your shovel and get up here. We have a spare room and an extra sewing machine in the sewing room.
We have about 15" and unable to get onto the street. The last I heard the plow was at 3 a.m. and nothing since. DH dug out the driveway twice. Fortunately, it is not snowing now, but we are expecting more.
We used to live in DC and they really got hit. While we lived there, they closed school on the threat of snow. Wonder how they are doing now. Fortunately, they won't have to contend with Marion Barry to clean the streets. He did a miserable job when we lived there.
I guess we should be thankful that the fallout was snow and not rain as you river is still very high from previous days of rain. It really is pretty outside. The pine trees are gorgeous.
