IMHO the binding is KEY! A couple of gals smarter than me mentioned the binding. I don't know that I would have even thought of it. However, personally . . . when I looked at the two sites that showed patterns and completed quilts, the green binding was a turn-off. The site that showed the deep lilac binding looked much better. Again, IMHO, the binding shouldn't get the attention . . . the beautiful quilt should. Though the green binding matched a green in the quilt . . . for me it ruined it.
