Default One block quilt

My wife and daughter were out of town recently and I was tired of the WIPs that I had. I opened a book we've had for a while and decided to make something "quick" that I could start and finish while they were gone. The book is "Sew One and You're Done" by Evelyn Sloppy. I added a border to make it 60" square and used a pieced back because I was way short of the tie-dye fabric I wanted to use.

When my daughter saw it she asked, "Whose quilt is that, Daddy?" I told her that I thought I'd give it to a little girl who didn't have a quilt. She replied, "But it has pink and purple and those are my favorite colors. Can I have it?" Well, what am I going to say to that? So, here is Emmaline's new quilt.

The book is full of quilts made from one huge block. I think this one measures 48" or so square, and I added the border.

I used a new panto on this one, but I can't remember the name.

I had plenty of the front block fabrics but was short of the backing.

Thanks for looking.
