Congrats on the new machine. I already had a Juki 2010Q that I totally love, butI took the plunge in January and bought the Janome Horizon MC14000 with quilting in mind. I completely quilted a twin-sized quilt for my DGD for the first time and finished it this week (posted the picture on the QB). I, too, have not been able to FMQ to the level that I want, and the embroidery machine really changed that for me. The embroidery machine concept works extremely well.
