Another thought or two. I have made over-sized tote bags for both the women's shelter and DCFS. Both groups usually arrive with no "real" luggage. I also, have made pillow cases for local families after they lost their belongings in a house fire. People are not that concerned with pattern on the fabric, they just want something usable. Is there a local church that is sponsoring an immigrant family? They usually need items to set up a household.
