My son's first job was loading hay onto a truck. Worked all day, and got paid a few dollars and a big meal that the wife of the farmer cooked from her garden. My son said when you finished eating at her table you could barely walk out of there. It was hard work for him as a young teen, but it served him well for his future. He has never ever been afraid of work and making an honest living. He has never been without a job either, and today has a beautiful home for him and his wife.

Me and my son both use to have to help his dad long ago when a cow would get out of the fence in the pasture. At first I was a bit scared, but got use to it. That and snakes. lol.. I grew up in Chicago, but born in TN. I use to eat food, but later learned to prepare food from the animal. Wild ones too. I do appreciate the farmer.
