Hello & welcome from Texas. I'm sorry for the loss of your "mom" as I know how very special mother-in-laws can be. Mine (like yours) was more of a mom to me also. She would be proud that you have decided to pick up quilting again. I don't have an answer about your labels but know someone will come along with great suggestions.
