I might be tempted to believe the DNA was accurate, and would not be used for "culling the herd" if I were not already aware of a couple cases in which DNA test nearly destroyed two families. During DNA testing, it was 'discovered' that a mother's DNA did not match her child's. This resulted in stolen child accusations, foster care for the children for no legal reason, and the bottom line in both cases was the mother was a chimera (she has more than one set of DNA). DNA is more fallible than the courts want to admit, but it does keep them all employed...
Also, when DNA tests are run, the results are way more detailed that what ancestry returns to you, why don't they send you all of it? They send you just enough to make you believe they have given you all the details.
In this modern age of secret everything, I will not be inviting any more intrusion into my survival. Just saying.
