Jaba, one of my quilt guild members was making a Crown Royal quilt for someone else during our retreat this past April. (She got a lot of ribbing about how she managed to consume that much alochol and still be able to quilt a straight line.) The quilt colors were beautiful but..not my style. Speaking of Crown Royal quilts.... I made this commission quilt a few years ago for a woman wanting to have this made for her husband's 60th birthday. And yes, they DID drink and save all those crown royal bags!! The very center block (which is hard to see in this pic) was custom embroidered for a bottle that says "Wayne's Stash, Crown Royal".
The block I used is the "square in a square". It was ummm... INTERESTING to say the least!!
