48 Hours just did a show on this. the police were searching for a killer and had DNA, it came up under this guy but it wasn't his, but it showed it was a family member, except for the fact that no family members lived in that area. It took a few years of investigative work where this guy's family was put under the telescope. After that, Ancestry said they have since locked down their data bases and wouldn't share the info with anyone. Hopefully this is true. But computers get hacked all of the time. I agree 'ccthomas' medical history is scary but what if you aren't given the right info, it could be even scarier if you though there was a history of bad medical stuff to worry about, or if you'd been lead to believe there were no problems but there were. So true, Judy. Knowing medical history is sort of a sketchy thing. It might help you or it might just freak you out about something that is never going to happen.
