Joanns has a very good iron on vinyl that I use on place mats that I want to keep nice they just wipe off and stay nice forever I ave had mine about 15 years before the vinyl wore around the edged I removed it washed my placemats redid them and like new again it is rather expensive so I only use it on my favorites but follow the instructions and very easy to use
