I've always loved this pattern - in fact, I have the pattern, but have not touched it. Retirement is soon now, so maybe...
You've gone over the top, though, with hand quilting! Wow - I can promise you that if I ever do get this one done, it won't be hand quilted. The color you chose for your border is perfect.
