Thank you for your replies. I Googled tutorials, but none came up. My problem is not the Y seam or set-in seam, which I am familiar with. I have attached a photo of two rows of stars. I'm having problems attaching the rectangles, and small and large blocks between rows, to make the top. Thank you again for your help.
y gosh this will be a beautiful quilt. Just looking the pictures, i'd use two triangles +seam allowance) between the pink & purple star points. For the small stars I'd do a square in a square type thing using the small star as the centre square. Just another thought to help confuse you. LOL. Please post when you figure it out.
