ok...ok...ok....my personal preference would be red! I can see it against the black and white sashing/border. But here is something you might try...take colored construction paper and cut strips and place along the edge of the corner of the quilt to get an idea of what you'd prefer. The size of the border does not need to be cut 1/2" or whatever size you intend to use as you can cut the paper strips wider (for ease of use) and just place them under/behind the quilt to see which color you'd like best. Or maybe you'd have some quilt scraps just to test out. Good Luck!
