Thanks so much for sharing this tip. It hadn't occurred to me to refill the glue baste-it with Elmer's.
I buy my Elmer's washable school glue by the gallon, and transfer it to a "picnic condiment bottle with a cap" to glue baste my quilts. Much easier than squeezing the bottles intended to dispense a little bit of glue that it comes in.
