Default The Doozy is Done

I try to learn something from every quilt. The takeaway from this: King Size is hard to manage. Precision piecing is necessary in maintaining points. I Can get a binding on by machine that pleases me. Binding a quilt by machine is Much faster. Color selection is so important (not sure I passed this test).

Becky St did a phenomenal job of quilting. She said everything is freehand this is the first time she has tried this border. I think the quilting turned out beautifully.

I promised myself that I would finish piecing this in 2016. I finished at 5 p.m. on 12/31/2016. The pattern is Gemstone by Wing and a Prayer Design. It is a piecing doozy.
