My DH gave this trip to me for Christmas a couple of years ago and it was absolutely wonderful. It was hard to get reservations for a room and luckily we got one but we had to stay in Bend, Ore. which wasn't too far from Sisters and he started searching for a place to stay in December!!! We bought some snacks before we left Bend and just sat and ate on a bench. He dropped me off and found a golf course close by. It was quite warm so take lots of water, a hat for shade and camera. The quilt shop there is "Stitching Post Quilt Shop" and it was busy but tons of fun to shop in. Have fun and enjoy. We went early too and just walked around watching them put up the quilts. There is many, many visitors so just take a dose of patience with you but it is all worth it.
