I guess I'm asking because I get given a lot of fabric and most of it is FQ size or smaller, or odd shapes, and I don't know if it's been prewashed. My stash is mainly scraps from thrift stores or other people's leftovers. I'm not fussy about mixing washed with unwashed for myself but I've been wondering how you ladies deal with it in a boom?
I am a serial non pre-washer however for booms I do. if I have a piece in my stash I want to use if it's F4 or larger and I have enough I put them in laundry bags and wash them. If they are smaller or scraps I just wash them in my sink. I also now keep a variety of washed whites and wow's. something I never had much of (read any) before I started booms.
