Years ago I used to sew clothes for my children and myself ... always wanted to make a quilt ... started one back in the early 80's and put it on a shelf half way through. One day we were having a lawn sale and my quilt got put out by mistake. I didn't have the heart to tell my cousin it wasn't really for sale when she brought it up to me. Years later I discovered she finished it, my grandmother bought it and since gram passed away ... my mother has acquired it. Since that very first quilt attempt... I have been more successful and have made over fifty in the past three years. I love looking online at quilts others have made and look forward to learning new patterns.
