Hi LindaR,

Yes the 306W sits in a wooden frame. I don't have an extra "old cabinet" to set her in so her bottom just "hung out".

I had an idea and asked my old boss, who loves to do wood working projects and tinker, if he would make a box for her to sit in. I took the machine to him and he brought her back in her new house :D He did a beautiful job and it's smooth as can be :D

I need another "old" cabinet with the set-in pegs (can't for the life of me remember what they are called...duh!) and then she could come out of her box

I was tickled when I checked the bottom of my Featherweight box, an added extra was the key!
