I found this website that recommends using 90% rubbing alcohol.

If the rubbing alcohol doesn't work, she recommends using a citrus degreaser.

Haven't had this particular stain, but my go-to is Grandma's Stain Remover:

My dh tried multiple things to get grease out of a pair of white tennis shoes, including the washing machine. Nothing he did worked. I rubbed this stuff in, let it set, then washed the shoes in the machine and they came out like new. I see they now have a laundry spray version. Think I will get that as it would come in handy for larger stains.

Avoid using hydrogen peroxide, as it can fade colors and also weakens the fabric fibers.

Edit: Another thing that I think is safe to try is nail polish remover.
