Eileen Roche has a book called Quilting With an Embroidery Machine. I took a class on her method and it's not hard but it is time consuming. Her designs call for a machine with a 6x10 hoop but I resized them to use with my Brother PE770 5x12 hoop. It worked just fine. I also used my PE770 to do each block not just edge to edge.
