I quilted the outline of a Shamrock in the solid blocks of a Single Irish Chain quilt. Basted the quilt with safety pins. Hooped the quilt without a stabilizer -- top, batting and backing. Used the same thread in the needle and in the bobbin. Every time I wanted to embroider the Shamrock outline I had to rehoop the three layers; however, the quilt was beautiful.
