Thank you ever so much. That makes sense. Will check out the other link you provided. I will be trying this on the next new quilt. I have lots of UFO tops to finish but I have the bindings ready for all finished tops....always make the bindings once top is done.

The binding is cut 1-1/2" and the piping is 1-3/4. That way, when you press in half, 1/4" of the piping will show.
