The last quilt I made had some really nice things in it: the medallion center, some cute blocks and a very complicated border. After I had those things made I had to put it together, and get it done by a deadline. I needed to rip out a section and replace it with different fabric. I was beginning to feel like a slave to my quilt. But I finished and got the blue ribbon!
