it is beautiful, and so glad to see you are going to keep the star and just replace the white.
I am/was a perfectionist. Then I went to a quilt museum and realized that there isn't a one out there that is "perfect". I have even seen photos in quilt books/magazines where the points don't align.
Not sure what your plans on for this but no one else will see it but you.
