Thank you, MizMelly for posting the beautiful pictures of your sunflowers. I really like that you can get great close ups.

Because I have a severe allergy to bee stings, several years ago my allergist insisted I remove all the flowers around my house including a large wildflower garden. Until then I enjoyed gardening, especially with native plants. My property is certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat. That's not the big deal it may sound like, but I like the idea.

I thought I could still enjoy flowers thru books and pictures online; not so. There's something about seeing pictures of flowers that I know are blooming in the garden of someone I know is so much better.
