I did Appalachian embroidery (18 inch squares) for two queen size quilts. So enjoyed it. I also have x-stitched a set of 12 towels (one for each month) . . . they were really fun! I also pieced blocks for a king-size quilt several years ago. Enjoyed that a lot too. Actually am looking for something to start soon. I read a lot, but I desperately miss having handwork (though I battle carpal tunnel). Someone mentioned getting sick. We live in a rural area and I certainly can't stitch on older (some two lane) curvy roads. But on interstates . . . I'm good to go . . . so far
