I have done the suggestion that you were given many times. Also I have done a screen shot of the fabric I am using then I resize that to the desired size. After I have it the size I want then I can make copies of it as needed. I think this will only work for squares and rectangles though. But it really helps me get a feel for how the fabrics work together
