Look online at Sew At Home. Lots of classes that explain everything. They're $20 each, but I found the explanations good and worth the money. I had taken a class at my local shop, but the teacher spent more time clicking around and mumbling. I finally got to do some good work after taking these online classes and you keep them forever, so you can always go back and refresh. This software is not particularly user friendly.
