To me, these would look cute as wof rows. The alternating rows could be pinwheels, or 4 patches or just about anything. A little boy would love it. And, I would use every one of them.
The other thing you could do is add a few more fabrics and do a bargello type look or a simple Around the World, Eleanor Burns style.
