I keep my orphan blocks (testers or extras) in pizza boxes (the cardboard is better for wicking any moisture from handling) labeled xmas, patriotic, kids, etc) and add them to the front of plain tote bags to use instead of gift bags. You can make plain totes bags for less than gift wrap costs and it is an extra gift. Folks think it is wonderful and I am basically using up my 'trash'. Also, I back some of them in a plain cotton, fold in half and have a wine bag. Nicer than giving a hostess a naked bottle of wine.
