Same thing happened to me. I never could figure it out. I sashed using different widths of sashing and it came out okay. Not being a math person, I tried to add up a few blocks to see if it was in the math of downsizing from a 12 inch to a 6 inch block. Maybe it has something to do with those tiny tiny flippy corners.
