In order to estimate yardage there are several things you will have to know.
1. What size is the finished quilt to be? There is a major difference between a throw and a kingsize.
2. Is it to be scrappy or only 2 colors?
3. What size do you plan for the finished blocks to be?
4. Will there be a border, and if so, how wide is the border?
5. Will you be using pre-cuts and jelly rolls or yardage?
