I bought a Singer 66 in that same cabinet. But I think it was older than 30's. This style cabinet was reintroduced at a later date. The early one had the split in the middle, and the right side folds complete down (like the one in the picture). The latter model has a 3/1 split and the right side aligns with the bed when open. That later style is what my Mom had a 201 in that I learned to sew on. I have the cabinet but the machine is long gone.
