Default Tip for flatter, more accurate seams

Hello everyone,
Many of you probably already know this tip and I probably even read it here...but I thought I would pass on my experience. As I've been quilting much more in the past year or two, I have been increasingly dissatisfied with lumpy ridges where my seams are. I read about using a lighter weight thread, but didn't pay much attention until recently. I finally broke down and ordered a couple of spools of Presencia 60 wt cotton thread, and Boy does it make a difference! My seams are much flatter and I'm getting better accuracy when matching points, just with changing that one thing!! Who knew that the thread could make That Much difference, but it has. Just wanted to put my recommendation out there for anyone else thinking about trying it. Just wish someone would carry it locally...It seems that I'm always wanting something that the local shops just don't carry and have to order online (usually thread and batting!)

Happy sewing!
