It takes my hairdresser 15 min. to cut my hair, regardless of length (and it has been many over the 30+ years I've been going to her). She usually charges $30, and I tip 20%. She even provides a calculator. I'd say that was generous, if you think of it as an hourly rate of $120, but she does a wonderful job. I worry she will retire!
