You can clean glass very well with DRY baking soda. It can take some elbow grease if the glass is very dirty. I usually vacuum up the residue when I'm done then you can wipe with a damp cloth to finish cleaning. This also cleans chrome very well. My oven door glass is dirty on the inside, on the back of the glass. I have asked the company how to get it apart to clean it, but nobody knows how to do that.

Also, I would be inclined to question putting cookie sheets and such in the oven. Are you sure they will stand up to such heat? Grills, I'm sure, would be OK there, but other pans are not so sturdy.
