I have used pretty much all of the above, except the contact paper. Never thought of that.

What I use the most is a fabric lint brush I bought from our local CVS Pharmacy. It was about $6.00. It is 2 sided and you brush one way and it picks up the hair, then brush the opposite to remove it. The one I bought has 2 sides which do the same thing. It is kind of like a red velvet (knappy material).

I found a link that is similar to the one I bought. I actually had one like this but lost it. I like my new one better. I have a grey cat that has long hair and it seems he sheds everywhere, plus my daughter comes over with her Siberian Husky which sheds in clumps. The lint brush works so good, I think it is even better than the upolstery attachment on my vacuum.

You can use static guard, but I hate the chemicals. I have trouble breathing around that stuff, plus I would be afraid of stains or whatever else it could do to your quilt.
