I have never participated before but, I'll take the plunge. I am prepping for our charity bee on Monday morning. We just had a seasonal fabric donation that has to be put to work right away or "rest" a year so Monday will be scary and the September meeting will be decking the halls! I will be cutting the Halloween fabric up into 4.5" X 8.5" strips and cutting a double amount of 2.5" X 8.5" strips to make 8" blocks with a "fat" rail on one side. This should maximize the fabric we were given. I so hate waste!
If that gets done, I'll be making backs and cutting binding for the 16 charity tops I put together this week before they go to the longarmer. Somewhere in there, I am taking a friend out to eat and loving on the resident grand baby!
