I made a flannel quilt for my son about 10 years ago. It has been washed many, many times, and I'm going to have to replace the binding soon. It is wearing quite a bit at the corners. However, it's entirely possible that the same thing could have happened if I'd used standard quilting cotton for binding. It's a sad problem, isn't it, to have a quilt so loved and used that you have to replace the binding?
