Looking at that quilt, all of the units are very basic. I know I sound like a broken record, but I would use Deb Tucker's tools for the FG, HST, and Snail Trail blocks. I also would limit myself to a few blocks at a time to avoid boredom. Can't wait to see your finished quilt.
I ordered her triangle tool yesterday. I should have it tomorrow. I agree with you about the blocks. The cutting is taking forever! I'm taking a break and will start stitching
