Default Bricks, blocks and pinwheels!

I saw a picture of a kit in a catalog, don't remember which one but this is my version. Navy tone on tone and white tone on tone for the pinwheels that were made to be unfinished at 5.5". The squares measure 5.5" square, and the bricks are cut at 5.5" by 10.5".

Assemble the pinwheels with the squares. Sew together 2 Bricks. Sew together two sets of these for a row. I used 5 rows and a half row.

The top measures 40" x 55", but easy enough to make larger or smaller. I think I will make this pattern again. As usual, holding the camera a bit wonky, looks a bit uneven, but isn't.

When I started cutting the pieces from my box of big scrap, I thought it might be kind of clunky with the big bricks, but I am happy with the look of it. Saved me from having to cut up some of the bigger scrap that was in the big bin!
