It it takes about 6 months. You have to be committed because if you don't complete your part on time you hold up the next exchanger. It's more tedious than making blocks, especially the last border. But you get a completed quilt that's a little more harmonious than our lovely block quilts are.

Any my experience or thoughts about this?
MJP, I did one years ago and one person stopped and myself and one other person didn't get their top back. I would like to try one again. It is a real challenge and learning experience.
