OK, Here is the do-over. I think it looks so much better! I ended up making a template then using cut away applique for the almond border triangles. Here is before and after. Thanks again, Sewbizgirl. If I do another I will use a 3rd color for the border and use border triangles all the way around. See... you can teach an old dog new tricks!
