Totally agree about the 'easiness' of a log cabin quilt. One of those was enough for me. I love the pattern but dread the thought of making another one.
"Great pattern for a beginner."........ ALWAYS take that with a grain of salt. What I think is a beginner pattern is quite different from what someone else may think.
