Thank you all for your comments so far. It looks like both machines are well liked and good for what I want. The Juki machine is a little cheaper, but that may be because it doesn't have the bigger sewing space. I am not interested in a frame. Just wanted to use it as a sit down machine, and was thinking that I would have it inserted in the table so the machine is even with the surrounding sewing space. I couldn't do that with the brother. I did try the Brother today and it was fun and in town,so I am still thinking.
