We have an epoxy garage paint on our back patio concrete. It has held up for the last 10 years or so.
My Son just finished a concrete staining job. He said the the glue is in the pours and will not accept the stain, or will not stain evenly. He suggested you look on youtube. There are many ways to decorate concrete floors. He especially likes this one, but there are easier ideas shown.
