Neither one of us would enjoy it if he came. I always feel kind of sorry for the husbands I see sleeping in the car and marvel at how long a wife will leave him there. How does one go about training a husband to do something so boring? The temptation of a lunch out must really get to them!
I don't go to car or gun shows, tho. It would be the same thing in reverse.
My hubby did start going along to craft shows with me, and was a lot of help setting up my tent and shop. But after that, he was just taking up precious space in my 10x10 stall... I dropped some heavy hints that he should go home and let the dog out and relax, and that it was much easier to pack up than to set up. One show he actually got out of the stall for a while and went around looking at everyone else's wares. He came back with a handmade knife he paid $300 for! Ay yi yi... I didn't even make $300 that day and he spends it like it's nothing. No more show shopping for him.
